What complaints should prompt you to consult our surgical specialist?
During outpatient surgical consultations, we investigate patients' chronic abdominal complaints, consult on abdominal imaging, laboratory tests, and other findings, remove moles and other skin lesions, provide surgical treatment for ingrown nails, remove soft tissue tumors such as lipomas (fat tumors) and atheromas (sebaceous cysts), and address smaller abscesses surgically. We also deal with the treatment of chronic wounds and the development of treatment plans.
Smaller procedures are performed under local anesthesia, following sterility protocols. All removed specimens are sent for histopathological examination.
In addition, there is the possibility to examine proctological complaints, perform instrumental examinations with an anoscope, expose smaller perianal abscesses, drain fistulas, and provide rubber band ligation treatment for hemorrhoids.
