Autogenic training is a scientifically grounded relaxation method that, when practiced regularly, has a proven stress-reducing effect. The word autogenic refers to achieving positive physiological changes through the use of our own inner resources. The term training points to the gradual recalibration of the nervous system that occurs through consistent practice. Beyond this, autogenic training is a process of self-awareness in which attention turns inward. Participants gradually learn to perceive, interpret, and gently regulate their own physical and emotional processes. Regular practice not only brings a sense of calm, but also provides deeper insight into how we respond to stress, which inner patterns influence our reactions, and how we can create greater balance in everyday life in a more conscious and sustainable way.
