Dr. Melinda Lakatos

I am an ophthalmologist.

I graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Szeged in 2006, and then I started working as an ophthalmology resident at the Szeged Ophthalmology Clinic, where I am currently employed. During my years of specialization, I gained additional experience in both domestic and international ophthalmology departments and outpatient clinics.

I obtained my ophthalmology specialization in 2011, and since then, I have been active in both the public and private sectors, providing care for both adult and pediatric ophthalmology patients.

Today's modern digital lifestyle has also brought many changes from a pediatric ophthalmology perspective.

One of the goals of my work at PrimaClinic Health Center is to ensure that screening examinations for children about to start school are conducted in a timely manner, as well as to appropriately treat other pediatric ophthalmological conditions, such as strabismus and the increasingly prevalent myopia, and to perform ophthalmological examinations necessary for further education.
